At Kroflič Sawmill in Črnova near Velenje, our Other timber range complements our offer for joinery and further processing. It includes beech, maple, cherry and acacia, as well as slabs produced when sawing logs. Selection depends on the finished product, desired appearance and processing requirements.
Timber species differ in grain, colour, hardness and workability. For furniture and interiors, we mainly check quality, dimensions and moisture content. For slabs, we also consider the natural edge, irregular shape and usable yield.
