Spruce structural timber – timber for building and timber structures
At Kroflič Sawmill in Črnova near Velenje, we offer spruce structural timber for construction and further processing. Spruce is used for beams, purlins, rafters and other timber components. The choice of dimensions and preparation depends on the structural design and the requirements of each project.
Cross-section, length, moisture content, quality and expected load are important when ordering structural timber. For load-bearing components, the required strength class and suitability of the specific timber and its documentation must be checked against the project. Timber species or appearance alone does not determine load-bearing capacity.
